Manchester Community Festival 2003 |
||
Mr. Roy Miller, WWII Veteran, rang the Ohio Bicentennial Bell to begin the Official Ceremony of our Community Festival. |
Students from the Manchester High School Marching Band, directed by Mr. Nathan Sensabaugh, led the National Anthem. |
Kinds words from Bo-Jo the Clown, and face-painting by Mrs. Adam's Girl Scouts kept even young hearts happy! |
These lovely ladies, the Tap Kats, "kicked off" our program! |
Oh, weren't they just delightful! |
Nothing like a nice shady spot with a hot dog (or pizza) and a root beer to enjoy the afternoon's entertainment! |
"Gone Fishin'!" the praise group from Manchester Trinity Chapel, presented a WONDERFUL program of Contemporary Christian favorites! But who is that other lady singing with them? She looks a lot like OUR pastor...! Nah, couldn't be... could it? |
We all came out to enjoy the festivities! Someone said, "Do it again next year"? They obviously weren't the ones doing all the work! |
Square dancing to the music of Heritage Music Bluegrass Band! These hometown guys are REALLY GOOD! I could listen to them for hours! What a wonderful way to end a perfect afternoon! |
|
Our Manchester Community Festival was so well attended! Even some of our local political leaders attended! Thank you, Franklin Township, for spending the afternoon with us! |
